Experts agree that young children learn a great deal by spending a little time each day, in a playful environment on important skills and concepts. The purpose of this program is to introduce the alphabets to the children and its related vocabulary for them to be able to give a concrete image to an abstract concept. A letter by itself makes no sense to the child. Mastering the letter sound and focusing on those sounds in words – especially beginning and ending consonant sounds and short and long vowel sounds leads to phonic skills. This unique program will encourage learning by stimulating all the faculties of the child. It will cater not only to cognitive development but also to motor, sensory and aesthetic development. Learning to identify alphabets and the phonic sound will lead to natural progression to reading. Being able to give meaning to written word forms the basis of all learning across all subjects.
Pre reading and pre writing skills are the basis of learning and developing of these skills is a skill by itself.
The “Read Along” program is a natural extension of the Phonic program . It relies heavily on the past knowledge of Phonics and visual stimulation.

Our program is based on supporting the child’s need to explore desire to learn and ignite a hunger to read. The scientifically designed activities and sessions will be executed by trained personnel in a child friendly non coercive environment.
